The Gotham Community has truly become a family, offering a supportive, non-judgmental, and welcoming environment for all.

My reactive dog is very excitable and exuberant and everyone in the group knows how to act around him and made it possible for us to join the group in such a comfortable manner. This group is as much for the dogs as it is for us human. Feeling the support and empathy from everyone is amazing. My dog has done amazing progress. Joining Gotham and practicing there has helped me grow my confidence in understanding his reactivity and handling him and he has done amazing joining me in so many more adventures! Daphne has successfully created a safe space where both humans and dogs feel comfortable and valued. Thank you Daphne!

GCDG has helped my dog and myself so much! He is extremely reactive and nervous around new people and dogs- barking, lunging, etc. used to be a common occurrence. When I first thought about taking him to club, I thought we’d really put “no judgement zone” to the test. Not only have i found an amazing community of dog lovers who I can learn a ton from, but for the first time I have felt like i have a real community rooting for me and my complicated dog. I’ve seen so much improvement in my dogs abilities and in my own confidence taking him into increasingly challenging situations. I feel like the dog community can be so insular, but I’ve met such a variety of people at club, it is such a unique asset to the Chicago community!

This club has been such a benefit for me and my dogs. It has helped my dogs become more comfortable in new situations, and helped us work on things I didn't know we needed! It's so comforting knowing that this is a safe, judgement free, and supportive space for us to succeed with my reactive dogs.

As a junior handler, this club has been an absolutely amazing, supportive environment to be able to to succeed with my dog. it's a safe place for everybody and judgement free so you can work with your dog with peace of mind. i couldn't be more happy to have found this club! it's helped my dog and i come so far and there's plenty of resources as well as knowledge available to everybody from various trainers.

Being apart of Gotham City has been such a breath of fresh air. Having a reactive (weirdo) dog is hard for people to understand. Dobbs and I have struggled with his progress given other people’s opinions on how a dog should act or behave.

I’m truly thankful for Daphne creating this community. It’s made dobbs and I feel safe to practice/ work on things surround by like owners and dogs. The best part about this community is there is such a high level of respect for every owner and their. It’s so fucking awesom!. It’s no judgement zone and truly allowed Dobbs to excel. We’ve been working on decompressing and the art of “chilling” around triggers. He’s made so much progress and it all attributed to Daphne, the other members of Gotham sharing their insights and how they navigated things. Truly truly thankful!

I cannot speak highly enough about Gotham City Training Club! When I first started, I was incredibly intimidated. I’m not a professional trainer, and I worried I might let my dog down or not be able to keep up. But from the moment I stepped into that first session, all of my fears melted away. The team welcomed me with open arms, showing incredible patience and a genuine willingness to teach me. They made sure I felt supported, no matter where I was in my training journey.

What started as a way to help my dog and I get through some struggles has turned into something truly special. The connections I’ve made with the trainers and fellow dog owners have become lifelong friendships, and I’ve seen such positive growth in my dog too. Gotham City Training Club is more than just a place to train; it’s a community that truly cares about you and your pet. If you’re looking for a place that’s supportive, knowledgeable, and kind, this is it!
